PURPOSE AND GOALS OF THE FOUNDATION

• To provide scholarships and loans for non-native speakers who need English language skills for their educational or professional careers or for their social and cultural assimilation into American life


• To provide an International Center as a physical facility and a geographical point of reference for international activities in Nashville and the middle Tennessee and southern Kentucky areas;


• To provide an exchange program for international students who wish to learn English and experience American culture and who wish to work in paid internships with participating local companies for a limited period, as stipulated by the United States government exchange (J visa) program. In this way, these students can defray most of their educational expenses as well as assist their employers through the internship program.
