DONATIONS

The Clark International Foundation, as an IRS 501 (c)(3) organization, is pleased to receive gifts from individuals, families, corporations, or other foundations. The foundation will provide tax-deductible receipts in accordance with IRS provisions and, when such gifts are memorials, will provide receipts to donors and acknowledgments to appropriate persons. Gifts may be designated in the following ways:

  • GENERAL ENDOWMENT. These funds will be managed by the Finance Committee, whose directions are set forth in the foundation by-laws and subsequent Board of Directors' actions. Such funds will be used to generate distributable scholarship and loan funds. The principal will not be distributed.

  • SPECIFIC PROJECTS. These funds are given for a specific project or projects of the fundation and will be used by the Finance Committee upon the approval of the Board of Directors for these undertakings. Such a specific project may be the development of an International Center for Nashville.

  • FOUNDATION OPERATIONS. These funds will assist in the administration and operation of the foundation. Patrons who wish to assist in the total work and expenses of the foundation may consider designating a portion of their gifts for operations and a portion of endowment.

  • DESIGNATED SCHOLARSHIP AND LOAN ASSISTANCE. These funds are given for specific individuals or groups of individuals and may or may not be tax-deductible, depending upon Internal Revenue Service guidelines.
